Our Junior Waterman Skill Program is designed to give teenagers the chance to develop superior paddling and swimming skills and practices essential to water-safety and rescue skills. We are passionate about helping the youth develop a solid foundation in leadership, teamwork, work ethic, and communication to boost their confidence, strengthen their abilities, and move ahead of the pack and within their communities. Participants should be comfortable in the water with basic swimming and paddling skills. The Camp is a continuation of the Watergrom Camp and ready to take the next step in their waterman journey. It is also for the teenager that is looking to build confidence and have fun learning water skills and test their limitations to explore their potential. Our experienced and trained staff will be there to ensure safety, guidance, and mentorship for the next generation of Waterman and Waterwoman. COVID MEASURES The health and safety of your child is our top priority. If you are choosing to attend our camps you obviously love & value nature. Our biome & immune response is ENHANCED by our interaction with nature... that includes other humans! With COVID measures changing daily, please contact us for recent updates, concerns, and questions. Face covering will be worn by our staff if they can’t stay 6 feet away from another human. We encourage you to choose what’s best for you and your family and communicate with our staff of your preference. We’ve increased the frequency of disinfecting surfaces and high traffic areas, and hand sanitizer will be available to all of our guests at Waterman. While we will frequently remind your children about physical distancing and keeping a safe space between themselves and other people, we have decided that enforcing children from playing 6-foot distance apart isn't feasible. If you are not comfortable with our measurement, we respect your opinion, and please come back to us in times of certainty.
