Description
Calling all kids 6-13 years! Do you want to learn how to sew? In this class you will learn basic sewing which will include getting familiar with hand sewing safety, notions, tools, threading a needle, tying knots, pinning, eight hand stitches, three sewing techniques and a simple project. When you are officially signed up, you will get an email with a free “Thread a Needle & Tie a Knot” tutorial. Bring a snack for a break halfway through the class. Parents or guardians are required to stay.Supplies needed: 2 magnetic pin cushions, 5" scissors, magnetic silk pins, magnetic quilting pins, hand "sharp," chenille, embroidery needles, a spool of polyester thread, and cotton quilting thread - colors of choice.
