SHOWSTOPPERS is Class Act's musical theatre training program designed for students who demonstrate passion, motivation, and readiness for intermediate/advanced-level performance training. Throughout this Sept.–March program, students will continue to develop their individual skills as triple threats (singer/actor/dancers), build confidence on stage (and off!), and cultivate an ensemble of theatre-loving peers! Training will include improvisation, acting and vocal technique, and audition skills. As the session progresses, we will rehearse and perform a musical! (show title and March performance dates TBD) The Showstoppers troupe will have performance opportunities in the community (such as retirement communities) which may extend into late March/April. Instructor/Director: Jaclyn Loewenstein & guest artists **INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED FOR ENROLLMENT.** New Class Act musical theatre students will be asked to submit an audition video or arrange a session with director Jaclyn Loewenstein. **Please EMAIL director@classactchampaign.com for consideration.** Half of the tuition is due at the first class session on 9/14.
