About This Activity
For students who love to sing, act and dance, this camp is your opportunity to take the stage! Join the fun as we rehearse and perform a brand new musical, IMAGINE A DRAGON. This camp is designed especially for motivated theatre students with previous experience. Instructor invitation or audition is required for participation. Email director@classactchampaign.com for consideration. DETAILS: 1) In May, all students will receive music via Google Drive and scripts to get familiar with. Auditions for roles will be scheduled in early June before camp begins. 2) Students who are cast in principal roles will require some additional rehearsal time after camp hours. 3) Parents may be asked to help supply simple costume pieces. 4) We will perform our musical for family and friends on Friday, June 28 at 11am and 7pm. REGISTRATION NOTES: 1) Tuition ($405) is due by check to COUNTRYSIDE SCHOOL. (no payment on this site) As of MARCH 1, there are only 9 spots remaining in this camp. There are also afternoon camps on the Countryside website. Morning Camp 8:30 – 8:45 a.m. Drop-off 8:45 – 9:00 a.m. Opening ceremonies 9:00 a.m. – noon Morning camp – campers will bring mid-morning snack from home Noon – 12:45 p.m. Supervised lunch/recess – campers will bring lunch from home 12:45 p.m. Pick-up for campers only attending the morning camp *Full day campers will enjoy lunch from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. See Countryside website for afternoon camps! NO CAMP ON JUNETEENTH. Extended Day options (for an extra fee) 7:45 – 8:30 a.m. 4:30-5:15pm
