Designed to teach basic competitive swimming skills, build self-esteem, and improve strokes. It's a great way to meet new friends, keep your kids active, and introduce them to a swim team program. We offer two morning and three evening teams.
Optional swim meets are held on Saturday mornings throughout the summer. Each team competes in dual or tri meets, with the All-City meet taking place at the end of the season.
Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke"
To ensure proper communication from Swim Team Coaches, please ensure your email is up to date on your ActiveNet profile to ensure you receive all communications. Prior to the start of the season, the program supervisor will reach out with information about swim meets, team shirts, and information about the coaching staff for the season.
The registration fee covers practice and swim meet participation. To participate in swim meets, you must be registered in ActiveNet. Check your email regularly and be on the lookout for a welcome email from Trevor Jones, the program supervisor. This email will have instructions and the summer season registration code to sign up for summer swim meets for free.
Team T-shirts will be available for purchase through to the end of the first week of practice and are optional for all participants. Shirts will be available to pick up at the pool from the head swim coach approximately two weeks after the final available purchase day.
