Designed to build on competitive swimming skills, this program focuses on improving stroke technique, building endurance, and maximizing speed. Participants will benefit from meeting new friends and maintaining an active lifestyle. Time trials are offered for all participants on the last Saturday ofthe four-week program.
Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim one lap (25 Yards) of freestyle and one lap (25 Yards) of backstroke without stopping.
General Information: We encourage everyone to arrive 5-10 minutes early each day for attendance and stretching. Please review the "What should you bring to practice" infographic for information on what to bring each day.
Time Trials: On the last Saturday of the four-week program, we host Time Trials for all of the participants on the team. The team will meet at their practice pool at 8am and the time trials will be no longer than two hours that morning going through each of the same competitive races offered by our summer program. Additional information about race offerings and sign-up will be sent out once registered for the month. Only registered participants can participate in Time Trials each month.
