Music can express the highest "heights" and the lowest "lows." D.A.S. Trio performs a program of classical music that goes from the confidence of Beethoven to the lament of Ravel. You'll hear the energy of the Spanish composer Albeniz, and the complex emotions of a beautiful quartet from WWII by a Viennese composer who taught Bernstein.
D.A.S Trio is named for the German heritage of its members ("das" is German for "the") and the intitial of their first names - Dan Ritchie (piano), Annette Nijjar (violin), and Stephan Hubig (cello). They will also be joined by flautist Cathy Wright for some of the presentation. Doors open at 10am for coffee, juice and muffins. The group performs from 10:30-11:20am.Location
