RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Day-to-day operations of the camper cabin, including scheduling, supervision of morning groups and cabin mates, paperwork and attending Cabin Leader/Staff meetings as required. 2.Executing spiritual studies with campers during chapels (every cabin leader will lead their own once-twice per week), in addition to nightly cabin devotions). 3. Health and safety conditions in assigned cabin. Keep cabin clean, sanitary, replace supplies when needed, and promptly report any repairs that need to be done to the Office Manager. 4. Providing appropriate camper care including ensuring campers complete the following: bathing, brushing teeth, hair care, dressing, toileting, and any other activities of daily living. 5. Assist the campers as required to participate fully in the camp program. 6. Communicate with parents/guardians to obtain as much information as possible about the camper on arrival and departure day. 7. Assist program director to facilitate the camp programs. 8. Adhere to and support all camp policies, procedures and guidelines as detailed in the Camp Staff Manual. 9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Camp or Program Director PHYSICAL ASPECTS: 1. Physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid. Must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, or injury) and possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers. 2. Able to manage lifting, some bending, stooping and stretching as well as daily exposure to the sun and heat and varying environmental conditions. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: 1. Must be willing to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours, swim every day, dress-up in costumes and work with children/youth all day. 2. Will reside in shared staff quarters of a camper cabin with shared showering houses. 3. Six day work period with one scheduled break each day and 1-2 days off between sessions
