About This Activity
Join us for a special week of Drama Day Camps, where each day features a different creative theme. Families may register for a single day or for all four days. Thursday – Broadway Day & Field Trip It’s showtime! Campers will step into the spotlight with Broadway-inspired games, songs, and movement. Students are encouraged to dress like their favorite Broadway character as we celebrate the magic of musical theatre and wrap up the week with big energy and big fun. Students will also take a field trip to the Belmont Arts Collaborative (BAC) to watch a performance of "Broadway Stars" at 1:30. This themed day is designed to be playful, creative, and accessible—perfect for students who love dramatic play, character exploration, and theatrical fun. These day camps are for grades K-4 and will cover topics such as *Improv *Musical Theatre *Dance *Arts/Crafts *Monologues/Storytelling *Open Mic *and more… Hours are 9AM-3PM, with optional aftercare until 5:00PM The drama day camps are open to all levels and a great way to find out more about DMR Adventures! Please bring a lunch and 2 snacks (one for morning, one for afternoon), as well as a labeled water bottle. Please don't pack any glass or any food that needs to be heated. Children should wear clothes they are comfortable moving in. They are allowed to wear costumes if they choose. No open-toed shoes - comfortable, close-toed shoes (like sneakers) are best. Please don't bring toys or electronics. Please don't bring cell phones - if the camper needs to call you, they may use the office phone. 434-227-4710.
