Mini Musical Theatre Camp: A Monster Cabaret (Afternoon Mini Camp) Dates: June 29 – July 2 Eligibility: Open to children in rising Kindergarten–3rd grade Locations Monday–Wednesday: Studio D, Downtown Mall Thursday: Belmont Arts Collaborative (BAC) Schedule Monday–Wednesday: 12PM-2PM Thursday: Meet at BAC to attend the 12:00 PM performance of Winnie the Pooh KIDS, followed by final rehearsal and preparation for their showcase: A Monster Cabaret Final Showcase: Thursday at 2:30 PM Location: Belmont Arts Collaborative (BAC) Camp Overview Mini Musical Theatre Camp: A Monster Cabaret invites young performers into a playful, welcoming world where monsters take the stage—not to scare, but to sing, dance, and celebrate being exactly who they are. This format is ideal for young performers, offering structure while keeping rehearsal joyful, imaginative, and age-appropriate. What Campers Will Do Learn songs and scenes Explore character through movement, voice, and storytelling Practice listening, ensemble work, and stage presence Prepare for a short, informal-style showcase Experience performing in a real theatre space at the Belmont Arts Collaborative Final Showcase Families are invited to a brief showcase performance on Thursday at 2:30 PM, where campers will share what they’ve been working on in a fun, supportive environment. Participant Requirements -Comfortable clothing suitable for movement -Closed-toe shoes -Labeled water bottle and snack Communication All camp updates and important information will be shared through a private BAND app group, which families are required to join.
