Mini Musical Theatre Camp: The Little Red Hen (Morning Mini Camp) Location: Studio D, Downtown Mall Eligibility: Open to children in rising Kindergarten–3rd grade Monday–Thursday: 9:00–11:00 AM Friday: 9:00–11:30 AM Class Showcase: Friday at 11:00 AM Mini Musical Theatre Camp: The Little Red Hen is a playful, age-appropriate introduction to musical theatre designed especially for young performers. Through singing, acting, movement, and imaginative play, students will explore storytelling while building confidence and collaboration skills. Using the classic tale The Little Red Hen, campers will bring the story to life through simple songs, character moments, and group scenes, all leading to a short, joyful performance at the end of the week. Focus & Experience Introduction to singing, acting, and movement Listening, turn-taking, and ensemble skills Creative expression through storytelling A supportive, encouraging environment for young learners Showcase Families are invited to a short, informal performance on Friday at 11:00 AM, where students will share what they’ve learned in a fun, celebratory setting. Due to limited space in Studio D, we kindly ask that no more than 2–3 family members attend per student. Full-Day Option Families may choose to register for both the morning and afternoon Mini Camps. Students enrolled in both camps may remain on site between sessions and should bring a labeled bag lunch. Participant Requirements Comfortable clothing suitable for movement Closed-toe shoes Labeled water bottle and snack Communication All camp updates and information will be shared through a private BAND app group. Parents/guardians are required to create an account and join the group.
