About This Activity
Have you ever wanted to write your own short stories or poetry but didn't really know where to start? This week-long workshop is a crash course in the basics of storytelling and poetry writing—what is the structure of a story, what are the basic components of a poem, and how do you go about creating them out of just the ideas that you have floating around in your brain? No experience writing is necessary—we'll be reading a couple of examples of each type of writing and then doing a variety of writing exercises to help you get started on your creative works!
