About This Activity
The Y.E.S. Wayfinders group (maximum 12 students) meets every other Monday (with a break in December/January) over the 2024-2025 school year. Your child will receive age-appropriate skills instruction in canoeing (flatwater up to Class II whitewater), rock climbing (bouldering, top-roping, rappelling, and more as ability allows), hiking, and land stewardship skills. Our adventures will provide challenging opportunities to further develop outdoor decision-making, risk management, teamwork, and leadership skills in a group of peers that are empowered to solve problems together. Activities take place at a huge variety of locations around Chattanooga, with transportation provided via 15-passenger van from the rendezvous location. All sport-specific gear and reading materials will be provided.
