About This Activity
Exploring the Arts Grades Kindergarten to 2nd Grade 6-8 spots available in each section MONDAYS at 4-5PM in the GPS Fine & Performing Arts studios 12 60-minute classes during the semester. NO CLASSES ON TUESDAY, MARCH 18 FOR SPRING BREAK Open your eyes to wonder and creativity! Is your early elementary student interested in exploring the arts? Join GPS alumna for an introduction to visual art. Emily Anderson will guide students through drawing, painting, and sculpture. Registration cost includes all necessary supplies. Young students are naturally inquisitive, and art experiences are critically important to fostering creativity. This 12-week session provides a hands-on introduction to the visual arts that can unlock creative inspiration and introduce basic visual art techniques at critical age. *Please note: due to enhanced security protocols at GPS, no observers are allowed to attend the class. Children must be dropped off and picked from the Middle School Drive*
