About This Activity

Led by Lauchlan Davis Sky ‘14, GPS Fine & Performing Arts Visual Arts Faculty Campers will step into the art studio and explore the joy of creating through hands-on projects designed to spark curiosity and imagination. Throughout the week, students will experiment with a variety of materials while learning foundational art skills in a supportive, playful environment. Campers will draw, paint, build, and collage as they gain confidence, practice creative problem-solving, and discover their own artistic voice. Each day includes guided warm-ups, artist inspiration, and playful studio time allowing young artists to experience both structure and freedom in their creative process. Campers are supported in trying new techniques and developing craftsmanship while expressing their individual ideas. The week concludes with a mini art exhibition, giving campers the opportunity to celebrate and share their work. Open to all skill levels. Skills Explored: Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Creative Thinking, Visual Storytelling
