Led by Lauchlan Davis Sky ‘14, GPS Fine & Performing Arts Visual Arts Faculty Color Magic Lab is a vibrant, hands-on introduction to the power of color in art, inviting campers to explore the exciting world of color through hands-on experimentation and creative play. Throughout the week, campers will explore how artists use color to express emotion, create mood, and bring ideas to life. Through guided activities and imaginative projects, campers will learn the fundamentals of color theory, including mixing, contrast, harmony, and symbolism. Working with paint, pastel, and collage, campers will create bold artworks that explore warm and cool colors, expressive palettes, and abstract design. This camp balances playful exploration with foundational learning, helping young artists gain confidence in their color choices while having fun in the studio. Open to all skill levels.
