Led by Lauchlan Davis Sky ‘14, GPS Fine & Performing Arts Visual Arts Faculty This drawing intensive is designed for students who want to strengthen their drawing skills while learning how artists observe and interpret the world around them. Through guided instruction, daily practice, and individual feedback, campers will build confidence in their drawing abilities while exploring a range of drawing approaches. Campers will work with graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, and chalk pastel as they develop skills in observation, proportion, value, and composition. Daily warm-ups, short demonstrations, and extended studio time allow students to experiment, grow through focused practice, and refine their work in a supportive environment. The week concludes with a small exhibition celebrating each camper’s creative growth.
