This pitcher-catcher clinic is designed for athletes who have pitched or caught before and who are eager to take their current skills to the next level. Whether you're aiming to become a dominant force in the circle or a reliable leader behind the plate, this camp offers personalized, high-level instruction in a competitive yet supportive environment. Athletes will begin in position-specific groups to work on drills tailored to pitching or catching. Instruction will be hands-on, detailed, and led by experienced coaches with elite backgrounds. Following individual sessions, pitchers and catchers will combine for live reps, putting training into actions. Our coaches are elite. Coach Ginger Jones-Sillery is a GPS science teacher and softball coach who also was an NCAA D1 Athletic and Academic All-American at the University of Alabama. She also played softball professionally and was an assistant college coach. She has an extensive background in running camps, mentoring players, and cultivating leadership in young athletes. Coach Morgan Che Baird is a proud GPS alumna. She played D1 softball as a power hitter and catcher at Coastal Carolina. She was also a collegiate softball coach with a wealth of knowledge in building girls into strong and confident women and leaders. She is known for her ability to connect with catchers and develop both their technical skill and character. Finally, the clinic will include a 20-minute interactive talk and Q&A with the coaching staff. This talk will discuss what it means to be a successful student-athlete, leadership development and mental toughness, and balancing academics, athletics, and life.
