About This Activity
Discover magic in copperplate etching. Design, draw and print characters or beasts with unique abilities from myths and folklore such as dragons, griffins, mermaids or your favorite heroes. In this class, you will gain hands-on etching experience using non-toxic methods without harmful solvents and learn various printing techniques. Dive into the fantastic beings of mythology for inspiration and discover how to create your designs. Printmaking is an excellent way to unleash creativity and create vibrant, reproducible art! You will end up with a stunning etched copper plate along with several prints that creatively employ color.
