About This Activity
Develop strong foundational drawing skills while learning to truly observe the world around you. In this class, teens will draw from real objects, still lifes, natural forms, and classroom setups to build confidence in proportion, shading, and spatial awareness. Students will explore line quality, value, composition, and mark-making while working with graphite, charcoal, and ink. Emphasis is placed on slowing down, looking carefully, and translating observation into expressive, accurate drawings.
