About This Activity
Description
This class teaches the fundamentals of ballet and tap. Students learn proper ballet terminology, the five basic ballet positions, along with an introduction to tap rhythm, tempo and coordination. Dress: Girls - leotard, tights covering the toes, tap shoes, and leather ballet shoes | Boys - white t-shirt, black jazz or athletic pants, black leather ballet shoes and tap shoes.
