Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism offers recreational youth coed volleyball for ages 9 - 13, and girls volleyball for ages 14-16. This program focuses on enhancing each youth's knowledge of the game and skill level on the court while providing a positive sports experience emphasizing sportsmanship and fun.Age as of July 31, 2025 determines eligibility/age group. Once registration ends, athletic staff will provide practice start dates. Due to high demand, leagues are subject to close-out prior to the last day of registration. Leagues may be delayed or cancelled due to an insufficient number of volunteer coaches or game officials.
Coaches set the practice schedules based on their availability and will contact you about their approved practice days and times. Practices and games could take place Monday - Thursday between 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Team placement requests will not be granted.
Practices will take place at Deep Creek Community Center. Game schedules will be posted online prior to the beginning of the season. Games will take place at various community centers city wide. A game jersey will be provided by the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.
Responsibility/Consent on registration form, refund policy and team placement guidelines are also listed. Refunds are not granted after participants are placed on teams. Team placement requests will not be granted. Leagues may be delayed or cancelled due to an insufficient number of volunteer coaches. Games will take place at various locations city wide.
