Description
The G3 Summer Music Academy is an engaging, fun, and interactive summer camp experience for kids ages 9-12. The focus of this camp is to give an introduction into the basics of music theory and to prepare each camper with the knowledge/confidence needed when obtaining sheet music for their instrument (or in chorus) at their respective schools. By the end of the 4-day journey, the campers will be able to recognize the notes on a staff, various music symbols, clap/tap basic rhythms, begin analyzing small sight-reading pieces, and more!
