About This Activity
Description
Children will learn different survival-based skills such as shelter building, how to build a campfire, how to fish, hiking skills, and much more. This camp will also include special guest speakers in addition to a field trip. Kids ages 9-12 will have a blast in this camp. Please bring water, lunch, and sunscreen. This camp is heavily based in outdoor environments. Please have child dressed appropriately for the weather. Child must wear closed toed shoes. Water games will be played; it is encouraged that your child brings a change of clothes each day. If you prefer to use a DEET-free bug spray, please apply that to your child before camp starts. This camp starts at 9 am at Western Branch Community Center and ends at 2 PM.
