This course provides a foundational overview of the building trades, including carpentry, drywall, tile, plumbing, electrical work, and blueprint reading. Students will learn basic hand tool usage, safety practices, material identification, and introductory installation techniques.Through guided, hands-on projects, participants will develop essential skills in measuring, cutting, fastening, and assembling materials. The course also introduces basic blueprint reading and simple material estimating.
By the end of the course, students will have the confidence to complete basic projects safely and effectively.
All tools, equipment, and materials required for class projects will be provided.
