Home to an amazing host of plants and animals, Rock Creek Park is a natural wonderland! During our explorations we’ll discover how forest, meadow, and pond ecosystems are structured. By observing and interacting with wildlife and native plants, we’ll develop our understanding of ecology and interrelationships. In this camp, we’ll explore the forest floor looking for creepy crawly insects, decomposers, arthropods, and other invertebrates! We will play games and make crafts to help us learn about the underworld of the forest and why it’s so important.
