Catapults, Marble Ramps, and Contraptions: The Laws of Physics (Drown) Discover the amazing world of physics through fun hands-on activities. From building and testing their own catapults to designing an amazing marble ramp, campers will learn about motion, force, accuracy, precision and angles. Students will learn many laws of nature while creating fun contraptions to illustrate the physics behind it all. Campers will be actively building and creating on a daily basis and work collaboratively to construct the most successful and accurate catapults, bridges, marble roller coasters and more. Class meets Mondays from 3:05-4:05 in Ms Drown's room. Any Lower or Middle School children not picked up by 4:05pm will be sent to ABC and charged accordingly. Please note this class runs through Project Week and Spring Break so classes will run into April.
