About This Activity
This winter, we’re bringing together the best of our Elementary Drawing and Cartooning programs for a creativity-filled experience! Students will sharpen their drawing skills with bold lessons like a stylized llama, personality-packed penguins, and our Young Rembrandts twist on Grant Wood’s American Gothic. They’ll also explore elements of graphic design through imaginative projects such as Trolls at Home, a striking Line Art Owl, and an exciting illustration of the legendary Mars Rover. Our cartoon curriculum adds extra humor and storytelling to each week. Young artists will learn to personify everyday objects, turn favorite pets into expressive cartoon characters, design playful toys, and dream up fantastic alien creatures from far-off worlds.
