PRAA's Comic Book Creation Cohort is a creative youth development initiative that empowers young people through comic book creation, storytelling, and visual arts. Through project-based learning, participants strengthen artistic skills, build confidence, and develop social-emotional competencies while exploring careers within the creative economy. Students gain exposure to workforce-ready skills such as creative problem-solving, communication, collaboration, project management, meeting deadlines, receiving constructive feedback, and presenting their work professionally. By the end of the cohort, each participant will have created an original comic book while building transferable skills that prepare them for future educational and career opportunities in creative industries.
