Girl Scouts will create an original theme song inspired by a favorite show, book, or game using GarageBand on iPad while learning how rhythm, beats, and sound choices help bring a story or character to life. During the session, participants will cover rhythm basics, experiment with drums, add prerecorded loops, and remix their theme songs into a fun musical creation of their own. This interactive experience gives Brownies a chance to discover how music can express ideas, set a mood, and make creative projects more memorable. Through this program, Girl Scouts will practice listening, composing, experimenting, and sharing their ideas while building confidence with technology and music-making tools. Whether they are new to music or already love creating sounds, Brownies will leave with a deeper appreciation for how music is made and a theme song they can be proud of.
