About This Activity

Explore coding and make special holiday cards! Black Girls Code will introduce Scratch, a coding platform, while Girl Scouts create holiday cards. Learn coding while celebrating holidays in a creative way! Girl Scouts will use Scratch to create their own interactive holiday greeting cards. They will design fun animations, add characters and falling snow, share festive messages, and be able to send their personalized cards to family and friends. Beginner and intermediate level coders welcome! Lunch will be provided. This is a drop-off event. A patch will be provided for registered youth participants. Visit our Council Shop for more Girl Scout swag. Financial Assistance may be available for this program. Details for how to apply can be found in the registration forms as you complete your registration.
