Mini Makers is a beginners visual arts program that introduces students ages 4-8 to the foundations of art making including painting, drawing, and collage. Each week students learn about a new artist and explore making their own art inspired by that artist in order to begin building an understanding of visual art language, vocabulary, techniques, and art history. Mini Makers invites young artists to discover their own unique voice through a vibrant blend of art history and hands-on experience. By stepping into the studios of inspiring masters each week, children explore rich bold colors, textures, and diverse materials. As they create personal masterpieces that reflect their own style, students naturally build fine motor skills, spark their imagination, and grow confidence in their own creative processes.
