This a hybrid class; online and in-person. The class will meet in person on the following dates from 8:00 until 10:00: June 24th June 25th June 26th July 1st July 2nd July 3rd Since this is a hybrid course students can only miss one in person class. Here is the course description: Students will acquire an array of skills that promote good personal finance habits and create an awareness of how to secure their financial futures. Budgeting, money management, taxes, credit, investments, housing, transportation and insurance are topics we will cover. Also, students will develop an understanding of the four basic economic questions and the different types of economies there are. Students will earn .5 credit when they complete the class and will not need to take Consumer Economics during the school year.
