About This Activity
Gymnastics (Kinderturnen) with Herr Doelle: Our Gymnastics class is designed to build a strong foundation in movement and coordination for children in PK (Maxis), Kindergarten, and 1st grade. This introductory class focuses on developing essential motor skills such as jumping, rolling, balancing, and swinging through engaging games and activities using various sports equipment. It promotes holistic development by enhancing flexibility, strength, speed, and endurance in a fun and playful environment. The skills learned in this foundational class prepare young children for our more advanced gymnastics classes for grades 2 through 5, fostering confidence and a love for physical activity. Our program aims to instill lifelong healthy habits, encourage movement security, and support overall physical development while helping children enjoy staying active and preventing issues related to inactivity. Students will build foundational strength and coordination in the gymnastics class during the first semester, which will seamlessly transition into developing speed and agility skills in the track and field class in the second semester.
