Music, Dance & Theater Camp K–3rd Grades This engaging all-day music camp is designed for elementary students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade who are ready to dive deeper into music, movement, and performance. Through hands-on instruction and collaborative activities, campers build musical skills while expressing their creativity and having a blast. Campers will explore a dynamic mix of classes, including: The Art of Piano – Develop foundational piano skills through beginner technique, simple songs, rhythm reading, and ensemble games. Strum & Sing: Ukulele – Learn basic chords and strumming patterns while singing together and playing as a group. Sing & Move – Strengthen vocal skills, rhythm, and coordination through energetic musical activities and movement games. Theater & Improv – Combine storytelling, music, improv and acting to create short performances that build confidence, communication, and imagination. Hip Hop – High-energy dance sessions focused on rhythm, coordination, teamwork, and age-appropriate choreography. Camp Schedule All-Day Camp: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Includes lunch and outdoor or indoor recess breaks. Led by experienced instructors from the Chicago School of Musical Arts, this camp encourages students to explore music in a supportive, fun-focused environment while building skills they can be proud of. No prior musical experience is required — beginners are welcome!
