About This Activity
Overture Strings, led by Anne Huynh McTighe, under the direction of Director of String Ensembles Daniella Valdez, provides entry-level string orchestra training to our youngest elementary school-aged student musicians. Their season includes two performances and weekly rehearsals that focus on technique, ensemble performance skills, basic string repertoire, and music theory. Overture Strings rehearses on Saturdays from 9:00 – 10:15 am
