About This Activity
Intermediate & Advanced Competitive Chess (Grades 1–8) Designed for motivated players ready to level up. Students train with tournament-style methods, sharpen tactical skills, and learn strategic concepts used by top scholastic teams. Skills Covered: opening repertoires, advanced tactics, positional strategy, endgames, game analysis, and tournament preparation. All chess students will have a chance to play in an in-person CPS chess tournament. www.cpschess.org All chess students will also have a chance to play in a weekly CPS tournament online at Chesskid.com.
