Discover the joy of creating! Teacher: Kelley Shields Art in the Afternoon introduces children to a wide variety of artistic techniques, materials, and creative experiences. Through painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and mixed media, young artists build skills while developing confidence, imagination, and their own unique creative voice. Every class blends hands on artmaking with fun introductions to art history and creative thinking. Children might sculpt with clay, paint using real fish to explore texture and printmaking, or mix colorful cookie icing to create and understand color wheel. Every project is designed to inspire curiosity, encourage experimentation, and make learning memorable.
