About This Activity
Join us for an exciting visit to ComEd’s Powering Lives Community Center a hands-on, interactive space where girls will explore the world of energy and the future of STEM careers! During the exhibit "Our Energy, Our Future," Girl Scouts will learn how electricity powers our lives and discover ComEd’s journey toward clean energy. Through fun, engaging activities, girls will explore the science behind energy and see how STEM can shape their future. As part of this special experience, Girl Scouts will also attend a ComEd Career Panel, where they’ll hear directly from professionals working in the energy industry. Panelists will share their career journeys, discuss the importance of diversity in STEM, and inspire girls to dream big! This experience highlights the importance of diversity, inclusion, and equity in the energy industry and empowers the next generation of STEM leaders including you!
