About This Activity
Minecraft and Other Games In MPA’s computer gaming class, the students rotate between fun age appropriate computer games. The class will mainly focus on Minecraft Education. If your student is new to Minecraft, they will learn the basics and how to navigate and build in this virtual world. They will learn about the different blocks and materials available in the game and how to use them to create structures, tools, and other items. The more advanced players will be able to host their own worlds within Minecraft Education and play together with the rest of the class. If you wish your student to have access to Roblox, please know you would need to set up an account for them. There are many games on Roblox that are not school appropriate so MPA will not have a Roblox account for your student to use. Depending on what games your student plays on Roblox, they may be asked not to be on Roblox. This class will meet in the Tech Lab on Thursdays. Any students not picked up by 4:05 will be sent to ABC and charged accordingly.
