About This Activity
Description
Embark on a journey of fun-filled exploration with Budding Buddies at the Dorothy F. Johnson Center's specially crafted toddler haven! Join us for an enchanting blend of play and fun under the guidance of our extraordinary Toddler Director, Ms. Dallas.
Art in the Park is a creative parent/tot program where toddlers can explore art through nature, sensory play, and hands-on activities in an outdoor setting. Using natural materials like leaves, rocks, and sand, children (with the help of their big person) will strengthen fine and gross motor skills, enhance cognitive development, and foster self-expression while engaging in messy, open-ended creativity. With fresh air and open space to inspire their imagination, toddlers will build social skills, connect with nature, and develop a lifelong love for art, nature, and exploration!
These sessions are not just about play—they're about forging precious bonds between adult and child, creating cherished memories, and fostering a sense of community among fellow adults. Come join us on this exhilarating journey through parenthood, where every moment is infused with laughter, learning, and the joy of discovery.
Do I need to stay with my child during class? Yes. Each program is formatted as an adult/child class to allow guardians and children to bond, and meet other parents/guardians who have children the same age as theirs.
