About This Activity

Description

Perfect for young dancers, this combo class offers a dynamic introduction to both tap and jazz styles.• Tap Dance: Helps develop rhythm, timing, and musicality, building a strong foundation for all forms of dance.• Jazz Dance: Introduces an exciting and expressive vocabulary of movement, blending funk, style, and creativity.Together, these two styles create a fun, upbeat, and well-rounded experience that encourages self-expression and a love for dance. Plus, what could be more fun than making music with your feet?
Attire-Girls: Black leotard, pink tights. Boys: Plain white t-shirt or leotard and black shorts or pants. Shoes: black tap shoes and ballet or jazz shoes. Leotard, tights, shoes and more available at Kinetics dancewear store.
There is an $18.00 annual registration fee applied for each student once a year to be paid directly to Kinetics. Fee not included in CARD tuition.
Choreography for performances may be taught and practiced anytime. The 4/14-6/7 sessions offer a performance participation option. Additional fees apply.
We are closed January 1–4, February 17, March 15-21. No classes due to performance: June 9-15.
