About This Activity
Description
This is a perfect combination class for young dancers ages. Tap dancing develops a keen sense of rhythm, timing and musical awareness. Jazz dance introduces a stylistic dance vocabulary for a fun, funky and expressive way of dancing. This class is a fun and well-rounded introduction to dance. There is an $18.00 annual registration fee applied for each student once a year. Fee not included below. Attire-Girls: Black leotard, pink tights. Boys: Plain white t-shirt or leotard and black shorts or pants. Shoes: black tap shoes and ballet or jazz shoe or any color. Leotard, tights, shoes and more available at Kinetics dancewear store. Kinetics Academy of Dance, 627 Broadway St. Suite 100, Downtown Chico. Closed 1/1-1/5, 3/16-3/22, 5/27. No classes at the studio due to performance 6/10-6/16. Performers will have rehearsals and shows at t he theatre 6/10-6/16.
