About This Activity

Description

Voices of Nature: Saturday Series Discover the stories nature has to tell.
Saturday, April 25: Endangered SpeciesOn the EdgeMeet the resilient species fighting for survival and learn how small actions can make a big difference in conservation.
Discover the wild side of learning at the Chico Creek Nature Center’s Voices of Nature: Saturday Series — a monthly adventure at the Living Animal Museum where curiosity comes alive! Each session spotlights a fascinating theme — from turtles and tortoises to birds, salamanders, snakes, frogs, endangered species, and field research — brought to life by passionate guest speakers and our Animal Care Naturalists.
Get up close with our resident animal ambassadors, enjoy engaging talks and live demonstrations, and experience a few surprise moments that make each gathering truly unforgettable. Whether you’re a lifelong nature lover or just beginning your journey, this program offers something for every age — inspiring wonder, connection, and new discoveries each month.
To add to the fun, participants are encouraged to dress up or wear attire inspired by the month’s theme — maybe a herpetologist’s hat, a birder’s binoculars, a frog-green hoodie, or your best field-research gear.
Held on the last Saturday of each month (unless it falls on a holiday weekend), this lively, all-ages series blends science, storytelling, and community connection — celebrating the incredible voices of the natural world.
Every session opens a new window into the beauty, resilience, and wonder of life around us.
Registration Details:Preregistration is required for all Voices of Nature events.
