About This Activity
This session is for those paddlers that have completed level 3 and have permission to register for level 4 river sessions. Please do not register for this session if you are registered in a slalom program. When: Start Date May 10, 11:30am to 1:30pm Where: Location TBD What: Whitewater river runs or park n play Payment Plans available. Please email us at ccekayak@gmail.com Level 4 - These lessons focus on water safety, learning how to identify currents, eddies, and eddy lines and how to turn in and out of eddies, cross and spin in a current, wet exit in the river, and defensively swim. CCE 2025-2026 Membership is required for this package. Please register for the membership on RAMP. - http://CCECanoeKayak.rampregistrations.com This program starts on May 10 and consists of 16 whitewater sessions on Saturdays (No session on June 7 but this fee includes fees for Salmon La Sac participants). The location of the sessions will vary depending on water levels and the development of the group. The lesson will be approximately 2 hours. The lessons will be either river runs or park n play sessions. Target age is 9-17. Participants should have a wet suit. We do have a few available for in the boathouse. Please contact us if you would like to try one on. All equipment is provided.
