About This Activity
***HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY*** CLASS DESCRIPTION This class is designed for students with prior Handbuilding experience who are ready to take their skills further. Participants will refine techniques like slab construction, coil building, and sculpting while exploring more complex forms such as teapots, figurative work, or multi-component designs. Emphasis is placed on planning, craftsmanship, and creative problem-solving. Students will also experiment with surface decoration and glazing to enhance their pieces. All clay, glazes and tools are included in the session price. SEMESTERS Each Semester Season consists of four 4-week sessions with one 90-minute class per week. Makeup time for missed classes due to illness are available at specified times on Fridays and Saturdays. We recommend registering for all semester sessions at the same time to ensure space for your child. Be sure to include the Active Network service fee cost when submitting your request to your charter school. When registering, be sure to select "Pay Later" at check out.
