About This Activity
**MUST BE ABLE TO THROW 3-4" CYLINDER WITHOUT ASSISTANCE** This Intermediate to Advanced wheel-throwing workshop will introduce you to a variety of different lid types that you can use to make jars, warmers, teapots, & more! Learn how professional potters approach lids with a flange, adding a shelf/gallery, sunken style. Learn how to split a rim, measure accurately with calipers, and design knobs. Each participant will be given 8 lbs of clay to use during this workshop to make multiple jars. Firing and glazing are included (glazing to be completed by the participant 2 weeks after the workshop).
