About This Activity
Foothill Country Day School's Math Club is designed for students in grades 6-8 who enjoy mathematics and are eager to strengthen and expand their problem-solving skills. Through engaging mini-lessons, math games, logic puzzles, and challenging word problems, students will explore mathematical concepts in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will have opportunities to solve problems both independently and collaboratively, developing critical thinking, perseverance, and teamwork skills. The club encourages students to think creatively, apply mathematical strategies, and build confidence in tackling complex challenges. Students may also have the opportunity to participate in local and regional math competitions, allowing them to showcase their skills and connect with other young mathematicians. Information regarding competition dates and events will be communicated as they become available.
