In this Makerspace Lab, the kids will get to explore and create with all kinds of hands-on materials. Each week, we’ll do simple projects that help them build early problem-solving skills, practice fine-motor skills, and use their imagination. Everything is very age-appropriate, so we’ll be working with things like blocks, playdough, cardboard tubes, tape, craft sticks, magnets, and different recycled items. The activities are open-ended, which means there’s no “right” way to do anything. The kids will build towers, make little bridges, design ramps, create artsy structures, and even test out how things move or balance. They’ll get to try their ideas, see what works, make changes, and talk about what they notice. It’s all about letting them explore and feel confident trying new things. My goal is to make the class fun, hands-on, and very low pressure. I want them to feel like they can be creative, work with friends, and just enjoy making things. The Makerspace Lab gives them a safe space to learn through play, be curious, and discover new ways to build and create. Classes: 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/11, 2/18 - NO CLASS 2/4
