About This Activity
Description
Each day camper engineers build and perfect their own robotic machines from a collection of thousands of Lego technic parts. First, campers build a standard version of the day’s robot with the help of a master builder. Next, they creatively customize their creation. Finally, campers use their robots in competition or friendly play with other camper engineers. Campers continually improve their robots throughout the day to make them more competitive or just more awesome! Motorized projects may include walking robot (Dumbots), cable car, speedboat, Quad Monsters, battle tank, ATV/4x4, Komodo dragon, spider bot, motor home, and Battle Train. Other projects include catapults and castles, claws and grabbers, and a variety of gravity, human or spring powered devices.Activity Secondary Category
